Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2025
1. About Us
Plumbing Boss provides plumbing and heating services in Medway, Kent and surrounding areas. By requesting a quote, booking a job, or using our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Verbal estimates are indicative only and subject to change once the engineer has assessed the work on site. We provide upfront, fixed pricing wherever possible. Additional costs may arise if unforeseen complications are discovered once work has begun — we will always notify you and obtain approval before proceeding with any additional charges.
3. Appointments and Cancellations
We aim to attend within the agreed time window. We will contact you if we are delayed. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a scheduled appointment. Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee at our discretion.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and bank transfer. For larger installations, a deposit may be required before materials are ordered. Invoices not paid within 14 days may incur a late payment charge.
5. Guarantee and Warranty
All labour is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. Parts and equipment are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product. Boiler manufacturer warranties (e.g., Worcester Bosch 13-year) are subject to annual servicing requirements being met — we will advise you of these at the time of installation.
6. Liability
Plumbing Boss carries public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, or damage caused by events outside our control. We are not responsible for consequential losses arising from a plumbing or heating failure.
7. Gas Safety
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers in compliance with current UK Gas Safety Regulations. We will issue the required documentation (Gas Safety Certificates, Building Regulations notifications) as part of the job. Customers must not use appliances we have isolated for safety reasons until we confirm it is safe to do so.
8. Website Use

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
